I Am Honored to Have Such a Wonderful Volunteer Staff
As a candidate for US Senate, I am honored to have such a wonderful volunteer staff who is working tirelessly on our campaign for liberty. You should see the hard work each and every person is putting into the campaign. As you may have read recently, there was some controversy with regard to the logo that our campaign used on our website and other campaign materials. For the record, we in no way attempted to use the work of someone else without permission. I personally feel life is 10% what happens and 90% how you react to what happens and I believe we acted swiftly and with accountability. With a shoe-string budget and the loyal devotion of a strong team, we have again persevered. Remember, we don’t get all those funds that the big corporations throw at the two parties because big corporations know that our principles will not be sacrificed by bribes. This is a signature of our campaign, personal responsibility.
I saw the two logo and thought it was a stretch to say it was an infringement theirs reminds me of the New England Patriots – anyway my comment is why not just replace the star with an American eagle.
I believe, Marc, that you did in fact respond swiftly and with accountability. I understand and believe it was never your intention use another’s logo, or a similar logo. I think your coverage and coolness over the simple mishap is just another example of your perseverance and positive attitude.
However, and again i know there was no harm intended, but I think, Casey, your comment itself is a far stretch. Marc’s logo was essentially the Blue Jackets’ logo reversed. Again, i do not believe Marc did anything wrong, but it would be just as wrong to deny what happened as it would be to continue to use the logo. There was obvious miss-communication, and although the volunteer who worked on Marc’s logo did a great job of it, the Columbus organization did have the right to seek out communication with Marc.

Columbus Blue Jackets!! Whoo! Yeah! I think your next logo should be the Dallas Mavericks logo, except backwards. Haha, good times.
